The Emotion Code / Body Code… What is it, exactly?

The Emotion Code / Body Code can be incredibly complex, but it doesn’t have to be. I’ve thought a lot about how to introduce it without rendering my audience comatose with the details. In a nutshell, The Emotion Code / Body Code is a method used to discover and release emotional baggage to resolve almost any issue so that we can experience optimal health, love and happiness in our lives.

I think most of us are familiar with the concept of emotional baggage. We might even have an idea of what a trapped emotion could be. But other terminology of The Emotion Code / Body Code can be befuddling. Despair anchor? Negative broadcast message? Miasm? When I first encountered these words, I just thought they sounded bad and I hoped I didn’t have one, although I was afraid I probably did.

Here’s the thing: you don’t need to know all the vocabulary regarding emotional baggage in order to start your journey of healing any more than a patient with a broken leg needs to know what a femur is. But whether you are physically injured or emotionally injured, you do need to be able to acknowledge a trauma, seek help, and become an active participant in your own healing.

For me, the phrase “emotional baggage” evokes unwelcome feelings that appear on a consistently inconvenient and all too frequent basis. For example, when I am with someone I love and yet manage to feel alone and sad on an odd day. Or when I feel frustrated and angry when I’m not understood or believed. Such feelings interfere with our ability to experience complete health, love and happiness.

Just like the varied luggage on an airport carousel, emotional baggage is different for all of us. Even all those ubiquitous black roller bags are filled with contents unique to every passenger. And each passenger is intimately familiar with the contents.

Imagine if you could move through life with only a carry-on.

 It’s possible.

In the book, The Emotion Code, by Dr. Bradley Nelson, DC (Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine) he refers to this emotional baggage as “trapped emotions.” These trapped emotions, Dr. Bradley Nelson writes, can block our ability to lead a fulfilling life and experience optimal health, love and happiness. This alternate phrasing–trapped emotions–is useful.

Why?

Because if something is trapped, we can let it free. This phrase gives us agency, allowing us to take action. By releasing trapped emotions, we can achieve optimal health, love and happiness.

But how, exactly, do we do that?

There are a wide variety of modalities that can be used to effectively release trapped emotions and resolve issues. Much like physical fitness, different modalities resonate with different people. However, in my experience I have found that The Emotion Code / Body Code is the easiest, quickest and most effective way to discover, release, realign, correct and heal trapped emotions and other emotional baggage to facilitate optimal health, love and happiness.

I invite you to join me on a journey toward optimal health, love and happiness.

The actual nuts and bolts of a session are a combination of muscle testing, intuitive questioning, and release and/or resolution using the principals of ancient Chinese medicine.

My certification in The Emotion Code / Body Code represents many hundreds of hours of study and practice, which has honed my effectiveness as an intuitive healer. The results I see in my clients reinforce daily that the holistic methods developed and popularized by Dr. Bradley Nelson–including reducing or eliminating pain, improving relationships, and releasing anxiety, are a powerful tool to healing.
